Just a quick improvisation for today. Amaretto cookies with amaretto.

Spent the whole (nice) afternoon photographing beach volleyball and other activities in Oostzaan, a nearby village. It was the first time the “Ronde van Noordholland”, a yearly cycle course, was visiting this village.

Pruned (a part of) my hedge today, so not much time and energy for photography. Here’s a detail which is not pruned. Not sure, but my guess is this is the starting blossom of a blackthorn.

Some weed I picked from my garden. It was late and dark.

Never too old to learn So this is a “forget-me-not”, or “vergeet-me-nietje” (in Dutch). I knew such a flower existed, but I didn’t know I had it in my garden.
