I do like the macro feature of my P&S here, although I prefer my other camera with macro lens for this type of photos.

Bought some mussels today for my Food-a-Week photo and a nice snack for the family.

The new season starts at June 8, but it still tasting very well.
Food 17 – Salmon with vanilla creme
Some layers of smoked salmon with a kind of vanilla creme in between. Although the back part was the nicest (salted fried sprat with some herbs), it wasn’t very photo genetic (understatement).
Food 13 – Pincho with mackerel
Baguette with a mixture of carrots, parsely and lemon juice and some mackerel on top.
Food 49 – Toast with mackerel
Smoked mackerel with creme fraiche and a small piece of apple.
